Aaron, 43, of Shreveport, were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zwolle, with Father Danny Walsh officiating. Burial was held in St. Josephs Cemetery in Zwolle. Mr. Aaron died Saturday morning, after a long struggle with heart disease. Mr. Aaron was awaiting a heart transplant. He was born August 28, 1949, in Shreveport, to Marguerite (Aaron) Burnham, and the late Joseph Aaron. He was a 1969 graduate of Zwolle High School. He went on to graduate from a diesel driving academy, and drove 23 years, cross country, for several truck lines. He was forced to give up driving in 1991, due to his heart condition. He then became a certified driving instructor for the Diesel Driving Academy, and had retired from instruction, awaiting the heart transplant. Surviving relatives include mother, Mrs. Cliff Burnham; stepfather, Cliff Burnham, Bossier City; foster parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Martinez of Zwolle; one sister, Mrs. Gloria Sims, Eustace, Tex.; brother, Sr. Master Sgt. John A. Martinez, Incirkllik, Turkey; half brothers Jim Burnham, Bossier City, La., Patrick Burnham, Baton Rouge, Mike Burnham, Midland, Texas, Cliff Burnham Jr., Mansfield; special nieces, Laura Simpson, Penelope Calhoun, Tammy Simpson, and Melaine Simpson, all of Hallsville, Tex., Amanda Burnham, Bossier City, Kelly, and Corina of Albuquerque, New Mexico; special nephews, Cody Burnham, Bossier City, Brent Burnham, John Allen Martinez, and Glen Patrick Martinez of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The family will receive friends at Warren Meadows Funeral Home in Many, at 2 p.m., Tuesday, with vigil service at 6:45 p.m. Pallbearers were Wayne Martinez, David Meshell, Albert Ezernack, Pat Ezernack, Jimmy Martinez, Larry Cryer. Serving as honorary pallbearers were Mr. Aaron's four half brothers.
