Armstrong, Jr. 10 May 1940 - W. H. Armstong, Jr. of Monroe died at Ft. Frances hospital in Monroe at 3 a.m. May 6, following a heart attack. He was the son of the late W. H. Armstrong and Mrs. Armstrong of Many. He was a veteran of the World War and was employed by the Missouri Pacific railway at Monroe for the past 23 years. He leaves his wife ? of Monroe; his mother, Mrs. W. H. Armstrong, Sr., of Many; three brothers, Robert M. of Thompsons, Texas, Amos L. of Shreveport, Chris E. of Killgore, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. J. D. German of Many, Mrs. Ruby Shadoin of Sour Lake, Texas, and Mrs. Daisy A. Laird of Many. Funeral services were conducted at the family residence Many 7, at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Riverview cemetery, Monroe.
