Armstrong Funeral services were held in the chapel of the Edwards Funeral Home of Woodville, Tex., for Christopher Edward Armstrong of Colmesneil, Tex., who died at his home Wednesday, May 2. Graveside services were held at 4:30 p.m., in the Many Cemetery. He was born and reared near Marthaville, and was graduated from Many High School. Mr. Armstrong was a retired employee of Woodley Petroleum Co. of West Texas, and was superintendant of Pan American Sulpher Co. of Jaltitan, Mexico. He was a member of the first Baptist Church of Baird, Tex., and was a member of the masonic lodge. Survivors include three sons, Robert Joseph Armstrong of Beaumont, Tex., James Edward Armstrong of Freeport, and Paul Raiford of Austin, Tex.; nine grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. John D. German, and Daisy Alice Armstrong, both of Many.
