The Sabine Index - Mary Armstrong

  18 Apr 1947 - Funeral rites for Mrs. Mary Armstrong, age 88
years, were held 3 p.m. Saturday at St. John's Catholic church.
Rev. Father J. A. Benoit officiated. Interment was in the
Catholic cemetery under direction of Massingill funeral home.

  Pallbearers were five grandsons and one grandson-in-law; Hubert,
Harold, Lucian and Claude Andries, Pete Corbett, and H. E.
Maines.

  Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. T. L. Andrews and Mrs. Clara
David; one son, Emmett Armstrong, all of Many; also 13
grandchildren.

  Mrs. Armstrong was one of Many's oldest citizens. She passed
away at the family home Friday evening after a lengthy illness.
