Bertie Armstrong

  Mrs. Bertie Armstrong, 76, died Monday, June 7.

  Services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 8, in the Starr
Funeral Home Chapel in Hemphill, Tex., with the Rev. Dan
McCellan, and the Rev. Noel Hammock officiating. Burial was in
the Centerview Cemetery.

  Survivors are three sons, Elvis Armstrong, W. L. Armstrong, and
Edgar Armstrong, all of Pineland; a sister, Mrs. Annie Clark of
Hemphill; four brothers, Reuben Hodge of Baton Rouge, Vilous
Hodge, and Etes Hodge, both of Many, and Otis Hodge of Waco;
eight grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
