All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mrs. Mae White Armstrong Mrs. Mae White Armstrong, 86, died at the Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Many, on Saturday, Dec. 29, 1984, at 6:30 p.m., following an extended illness. Mrs. Armstrong is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Estelle Brandon of Noble, and Mrs. Leoda Blackwell of Florien; one brother, Cecil Rogers of Pearl River, La.; 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Armstrong were held Monday, Dec. 31, at 2 p.m., at the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church near Many, with interment following in the Pilgrim Rest Cemetery. Officiating was Rev. Pratt McCloud, Rev. Jimmy Evans, and Rev. Harrison McCoy. Services were under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
