Merita "Bobby" Armstrong

  Funeral services for Merita "Bobby" Armstrong, 84, will be held
at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 27, at the Warren Meadows Chapel in
Many.

  The Rev. Alvin Hall will officiate. Burial will be in Aimwell
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Armstrong died on Dec. 25, at Willis Knighton South
Hospital in Shreveport.

  Visitation was at Warren Meadows Funeral Home, on Dec. 26.

  Mrs. Armstrong was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey
Armstrong; and a daughter, Gladys Jewell Savage.

  Survivors are four daughters, Pearl Booth of Mansfield, Nell
Strength of Leesville, Mary Ann Reeves, and Betty Jean Malmay,
both of Zwolle; two sons, Odis Armstrong of Woodville, Tex., and
Billy Wayne Armstrong of Mansfield; one brother, Hershel Bass of
Cleveland, Tex.; 38 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; and
three great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and
nephews.

  Pallbearers will be Dontee Strength, John Strength, Clifton
Malmay, Huey Malmay, Chris Chance, and Marty Sepulvado.
