Amos Lee Armstrong Jr.

  Funeral services were held Feb. 14, at the Rockett-Nettles
Funeral Home Chapel in Coushatta, for Amos Lee Armstrong Jr., 42,
who died following a sudden heart attack.

  The Rev. Lavelle Kennedy officiated.

  Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Myrtis Peebles of Coushatta;
father, Amos Lee Armstrong of Shreveport; three uncles, Chris E.
Armstrong of Colmesneil, Tex., John H. Stephens of Shreveport,
and Sam Stephens of East Point, La.; six aunts, Mrs. Laura McGee
of Shreveport, Mrs. Annie Lee McKnight of Coushatta, Mrs. Ida
Lawson of East Point, Mrs. J. D. German, and Mrs. Daisy A.
Armstrong, both of Many, and Mrs. Ruby Morris of Beaumont.

  He had spent much of his life in Many, and had many friends
here.

  Interment was in Spring Hill Cemetery in Ringgold.
