Mr. William Garfield "Jack" Arnold

  Funeral services for Mr. William Garfield "Jack" Arnold, 84, of
Pleasant Hill, La., were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, February 3,
1990, at Wallace Baptist Church. Officiating was the Rev. Ralph
Himes, pastor of the church. Assisting was the Rev. T. B.
Gilooly. Burial followed in Wallace Cemetery, under the direction
of Rose-Neath's Mansfield Chapel.

  Mr. Arnold died Wednesday, January 31, 1990, at DeSoto General
Hospital in Mansfield, La. He was born in DeSoto Parish, La., was
a former resident of the Wallace Community, and had resided in
Pleasant Hill for the past three years. Mr. Arnold was a member
of the Wallace Baptist Church, and was a retired oilfield pumper
contractor.

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Thelma Arnold of Pleasant Hill;
one son, Edward Glenn Arnold of Pleasant Hill; two daughters,
JoAnn St. Ana of Reno, Nevada, and Virginia Featherstone and
son-in-law, Eugene Featherstone of Universal City, Texas; five
grandchildren, Lynn Kloss, Ed Featherstone Jr., Seth Waldon,
Shane Arnold, and Shad Arnold; and two great grandchildren,
Taylor Lynn Kloss, and Travis Kloss.

  Memorials may be made to Wallace Baptist Church.
