  Funeral services for George Truett Arnold, age 68, were held at
2 p.m., Monday, June 1, at Florien First Baptist Church.

  The Rev. Mack Brister, and Rev. E. E. Walker officiated. Burial
was held in Little Flock Cemetery, under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Arnold died Friday, May 29, at Schumpert Medical Center in
Shreveport.

  He is survived by his wife, Odee Brantley Arnold of Florien; one
daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Courtland French of Florien;
three sisters, Marie McConathy, Marguerite Spears, and Darlene
Knippers, all of Florien; two brothers, Howard Arnold of Florien,
and Herbert Arnold of Porter; one grandson, George French of
Florien; and a host of nieces and nephews.
