All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Joyce Lee Arnold Funeral services for Mrs. Joyce Lee Arnold, 52, of Winnfield, were held at 10 a.m., Friday, March 21, 1997, in the First Baptist Church. Dr. Calvin Phelps officiated. Graveside services were at 3 p.m., in the Little Flock Cemetery in Florien, under the direction of Southern Funeral Home, Winnfield. Mrs. Arnold died at 10:50 a.m., Tuesday, March 18, 1997, at the University of Texas, M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. Mrs. Arnold, a registered nurse, served at Winn Parish Medical Center for many years. She was a graduate of Northwestern State University, with an Associate Degree in Nursing. She was a member of first Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Sanctuary Choir, a dedicated Sunday School teacher, and was actively involved in missions. Survivors include her husband, Quinton H. Arnold of Winnfield; two daughters, Monica Lovell of Winnfield, and Amy Crooks of Benton; her mother, Corrine L. Leach of Many; four brothers, Hoy Neal Leach, Kenneth Leach, and Frank Wade Leach, all of Many, and Coleman Leach of Jackson, Mississippi; one sister, Sally Remedies of Fisher; four grandchildren, Laci Lovell, Kelli Lovell, Savannah Lovell, and Anna Crooks. Pallbearers were Gene Porter, Don Causey, Freddie Bennett, Crosby Adams, Dwight Calander, and Harold Tarver. Honorary pallbearers were Ed Grigg, Wayne Skains, Conrad Swilley, George Moore, and Lynn Maxey. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, P. O. Box 230, Winnfield, La., 71483.
