Armour Sr., 80, of Beaumont, Texas, died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002, at his home. He is a native of Sabine Parish, and lived in Beaumont, Texas for several years. Funeral services were held on Oct. 8, at 1 p.m., at Aimwell Baptist Church near Zwolle, with interment following at Aimwell Baptist Church Cemetery. After serving in World War II, Mr. Armour retired from the Air Force in 1962. He was a retired carpenter, Vo-Tech Instructor, and electrician. Survivors include his widow of 59 years, Loretta; three sons, H. Michael Armour Jr. of Memphis, Tenn., Robert William Armour of Allen, Texas, Charles D. Armour of Beaumont, Texas; two brothers, Swepson Armour of Corrigan, Texas, and Tim Armour of Gloster; two sisters, Mildred McHone of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Alma Morris of Carson City, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
