Robert Reginald "Reggie" Bufkin

  Services for Robert Reginald "Reggie" Bufkin, 83, were held at
2:30 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 14, at the First Baptist Church in
Mansfield. Officiating was Rev. Bob Philips, pastor of First
Baptist Church of Converse, assisted by Dr. William Crosby,
pastor of First Baptist Church of Mansfield. Burial was in Zions
Rest Cemetery near the Wallace Community, under the direction of
Rose-Neath's Mansfield Chapel.

  Mr. Bufkin died Sunday, Jan. 12, at the Mansfield Nursing
Center. He was born in Wallace, and was a former resident of
Tyler, Texas, Mansfield, and Converse. Mr. Bufkin was a retired
building contractor, and a member of the First Baptist Church in
Converse.

  He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Eunice M. Bufkin of
Mansfield; three daughters, Jeanette Dilks of Paola, Kansas, Pat
Richardson of Converse, and Regina Crowdin of Mansfield; one
brother, Oscar Bufkin of Mansfield; six grandchildren; and six
great grandchildren.

  The family requests that memorials be made to the American
Cancer Society.
