Mrs. Julia Bobbitt

  Funeral services were held at 4 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 22, in
Shreveport, for Mrs. Julia Hardy Bobbitt, 83, who died in
Schumpert Hospital at 9:55 a.m., Saturday, following a brief
illness.

  Dr. W. T. Sims, a retired Baptist minister, officiated at the
services. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.

  Among survivors is a son, the Rev. C. C. Pierce of Many.
