Francis B. Buvens

  Francis B. Buvens, 56, of Galveston, Tex., died Sunday, April
14, following a brief illness.

  Buvens is survived by his widow, Mrs. Fannie McTyre Buvens of
Galveston; a daughter, Mrs. Diane Zara of Galveston; a brother,
the Rev. Norman Buvens of Bunkie; a sister, Mrs. Bobbie Bailey of
Many; one grandchild, and two nieces.

  Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 16, at 10 a.m., at the
St. John Catholic Church, with Msgr. Lennon officiating.

  Burial was in the St. John Cemetery, under the direction of the
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Hubert Andries, James McTyre, A. B. Ramsey,
Raymond Barr, James Davis, and Ancul DeLatin.
