The Sabine Index - W. Giroud Buvens

  4 Jan 1957 - W. Giroud Buvens, age 53, son of the late Henry
J. and Marie Burt Buvens, former resident of Many, died suddenly
at his residence, in Baton Rouge, at 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29.

  He had been employed by the La. Dept. of Highways for a number
of years.

  Funeral services were held Monday at 11 a.m. with Requiem High
Mass at Sacred Heart church, Baton Rouge. Interment was in Baton
Rouge under the direction of Roobenhorst Funeral home.

  Survivor include his widow, the former Ruth Renfro; one
son, W. Giroud Buvens, Jr., one sister, Miss Ethel Buvens, all of
Baton Rouge; two brothers, J. Gilbert Buvens, Baton Rouge and
T/Sgt. John H. Buvens of Hawaii.
