Bush of Woodbridge, Va. were held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec 26 in the Welman Funeral Home Chapel in Shreveport. The Rev. Earl Marr, Pastor of the Alford Heights Baptist Church of Many officiated. Burial was in the Fort Jesup Cemetery. Mr. Bush, 48, died Sunday, Dec 21 at the Georgetown Hospital in Washington D.C. A native of Many, Mr. Bush was Service Director at the Veteran's Administration Central Office in Washington D.C. A graduate of Many High and Northwestern State University Mr. Bush was a member of the Woodbridge Lions Club and the American Legion Post 234 in Woodbridge. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a Baptist. Survivors include his widow, Dianne L. Bush of Woodbridge; Two daughters, Catherine E. Bush and Bettina L, Bush, both of Springfield, Va.; Two sons. William E. Bush of Burke, Va. and Willard D. Bush Jr. of Woodbridge; his mother, Mary I. Bush of Many; one sister, Nettie Davis of Leesville; there brothers, Leroy Bush of Shreveport, R.J. Bush of Keithville, and Donald Ray Bush of Ridgecrest; and one granddaughter. His nephews served as pallbearers.
