Mrs. Ethel Boekee

  Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb 7, in the Bayou
Scie Methodist Church in Many, for Mrs. Ethel Maims Boekee, 85, of Shreveport.
She died Friday, Feb. 5, in the Shreveport Manor Nursing Home, after an
extended illness.

  The Rev. L. W. Taylor, pastor of Bayou Scie Methodist Church and the First
Methodist of Many, officiated at the services. Burial was in the Bayou Scie
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  She is survived by several nephews, nieces, and cousins.
