Ellis O. Box 
  
  Ellis O'Lee Box, 73, of Leesville, died at 3:30 p.m., Friday, 
Dec. 29, in DeRidder Baptist Hospital. He was a retired taxicab 
driver. 
  
  He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lonnie Barrington of 
Leesville; five brothers, Arnold Box of Shreveport, Bud Box of 
Jonesboro, Gilbert Box of Lamar, Tex., Wilmer Box of Longview, 
Tex., and Virgil Box of Atlanta, Ga.; three sisters, Mrs. Gladys 
Wagley, and Mrs. Eunice Youngblood, both of Natchitoches, and 
Mrs. Georgie Doolittle of Marthaville, and four grandchildren. 
  
  Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 31, in the 
chapel of Hixson's. Rev. Aubrey Boswell, pastor of the East 
Leesville Baptist church will officiate. Burial will be in the 
Marthaville cemetery.
