The Sabine Index - Sam Basco

  13 Feb 1959 - Funeral services for Sam Basco, age 65, who died
Monday, Feb. 9 at Sabine clinic, Zwolle, were conducted at St.
Joseph Catholic church at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, with Rev.
Father R. C. Friend officiating. Interment was in church cemetery
under the direction of Warren Funeral home.

  Survivors are his widow of Zwolle, four sons, Jessie J., of
Shreveport, Orin S., of Mansfield, Johnnie M. of Prestwick,
Scotland and Louis R., of Zwolle; three daughters, Gladys M.
Mouser of Zwolle, Verna B. Craig, and Lillian Muse of Shreveport;
three brothers, Cliff, of Converses, Clarence L. of Taylor, Texas
and Bob, of Houston, Texas; two half-brothers, Will and John Toby
of Many; one sister, Edna O'Kan of Robeline and 20
grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Lonie Martinez, Bill Laroux, and J. V. Maddox,
Herbert Ferguson, George LaRue, Wilbert Maxey.
