Mrs. Lela Bass

  Funeral services for Mrs. Lela Bass of Center, Tex., 59, were
held at 1 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 10, in the Mangum Funeral Home
chapel, with the Rev. Willie Adams officiating. Burial was in the
Oak Grove Cemetery in Converse.

  Survivors are three sons, H. L. Langford of Morton, Miss., Edgar
Lee Langford, and D. U. Langford, both of Conroe; one brother,
Riley Burk of Converse, La.; one sister, Mrs. Annie Mae Steward
of Houston; two grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
