Buck, 80, of Arkadelphia, Ark., died Saturday, Jan. 24. Services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, in Alpine Community Church, with the Rev. Bobby Golden, and the Rev. Earl Bardwell officiating. Burial was in Alpine Cemetery, under the direction of Murry-Ruggles Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife; seven sons, Rayford Buck of Huntington, Ind., Jessie C. Buck of Sheridan, Lawrence Buck, and Wesley Buck, both of Shreveport, La., Lester Buck of Pinetop, Ariz., Dwain Buck of Nashville, and Eugene Buck of Dierks; six daughters, Mrs. Louise Yancy of Maysville, Mrs. Evelyn Hill of Bells, Tex., Mrs. Jewell Dean Hughes of Shridan, Mrs. Gwendolyn Golden of Hot Springs, Mrs. Velma Free of Robeline, La., and Mrs. Varielee Mitchell of Nashville; six brothers, Virgil Buck, all of Alpine, and Onis buck of Amity; four sisters, Mrs. Serena Still of Arkadelphia, Miss Esther Buck of Alpine, Mrs. Bitha Boyd of Dierks, and Mrs. Effie Ashbrook of Benton; 39 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
