The Sabine Index - Allen R. Bush

  5 Nov 1943 - Allen R. Bush, 62, died early Sunday morning at
the Prothro clinic, Pleasant Hill. Mr. Bush had made his home
near Pelican for several years and was a well-known farmer of
that community. He was born in Mississippi, his parents moving
later to Sabine parish, near Florien, where he was reared. Mr.
Bush married Miss Annie Pope. Besides his wife he leaves two
sisters, Mrs. Lenora Leach of Florien and Mrs. J. A. Berand of
Plaquemines.

  Funeral services were held Monday at Ebenezer church near
Florien, Rev. W. G. Bailey officiating, funeral directed by
Dennis-Green funeral home.
