Calvin C. Bass

  Calvin C. Bass, 78, of Zwolle, died Friday, Dec. 14, at 8:30
a.m., in the Chateau Riverside Nursing Home of Natchitoches,
following a lengthy illness.

  Services were held Sunday, Dec. 16, at 1 p.m., at Beulah Baptist
Church, with the Rev. Kenneth Leach officiating. Burial followed
in the Beulah Cemetery.

  Survivors include 2 sons, Hoyt Bass of Zwolle, and Troy Bass of
Converse; three daughters, Minnie Mae Wilson of Haynesville,
Christine Turner of Shreveport, and Marie Meshell of Dallas, Tx.;
one brother, Charley Bass of Zwolle; two sisters, Elba Hippler of
Many, and Florence Armstrong of Zwolle; 38 grandchildren, and 26
great grandchildren.
