Clarence Bush

  Services for Clarence Bush of Florien, were held Tuesday, August
24, at 10 a.m., at the Ebenezer Baptist Church. Burial was in the
Ebenezer Cemetery. Bro. J. P. King, Bro. Earl Marr, and Bro.
Perry Hubbs officiated.

  Mr. Bush died at 2 p.m., Sunday, August 22, at Fraser Hospital
South, following an extended illness. He was 78.

  He is survived by his widow, Lovie Miller Bush of Florien; one
son, Donald Bush, Hamshire, Tex.; two brothers, Ralph Bush,
Opelousas, and Ernest Bush, Florien; two sisters, Ethel Brookout,
Shreveport, and Margorie Fowler, Longview, Texas; and three
granddaughters, Tracy, Sally, and Melinda Bush.

  Funeral services were under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.
