Bass, were held Thursday, Jan. 6, 1983, at 2 p.m., at the First United Pentecostal Church. Burial was at Pendleton Assembly of God Cemetery. Rev. C. J. Walea, Rev. James Springer, and Rev. A. D. Spears officiated., Arrangements were under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mrs. Bass died Tuesday, Jan. 4, at 9:30 p.m., at Fraser Hospital North. She was 91. Emma Bass expired after a short illness. Surviving relatives include two sons, Marion Bass, David Bass, both of Silsbee, Tex.; five daughters, Pearly Spears of Kountze, Tex., Willie Mae Wedgeworth, Louise Hippler, both of Many, Eva Mae Harpman, Maxine L. Lovelady, both of Silsbee, Tex.; three brothers, Bob Lee of Zwolle, Buster Lee of Many, William Lee of Silsbee, Tex.; 27 grandchildren; 51 great grandchildren; and 15 great-great grandchildren.
