Mr. J. C. Bass

  Services for Mr. J. C. Bass, 71, of Zwolle, will be at the
Beulah Baptist Church on June 13, 1985, at 10 a.m. Bro. Charles
Duncan will officiate the ceremony. Mr. Bass lay in state at the
Beulah Baptist Church from 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, and remained
there until service time on Thursday. Interment will be in the
Beulah Cemetery.

  Mr. Bass passed away on June 10, 1985, at his residence.

  Surviving relatives include his father, Charlie Bass of Many;
his mother, Pearlie Beason of Many; two daughters, Mrs. Wanda
Poindexter, and Mrs. Linda Barham, both of Shreveport; three
brothers, Mr. Howard Bass of Many, Mr. L. C. Bass of Shreveport;
and Mrs. Hershell Bass of Cleveland, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs.
Aleece Jones of Noble, and Mrs. Aubury Armstrong of Zwolle; 11
grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
