All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mrs. Margie Procell Buck Services for Mrs. Margie Procell Buck, 61, of Shreveport, were held at 10 a.m., Monday, April 21, in Shreveport Baptist Temple, with Dr. Howard Hall, pastor, officiating. Dr. Morris Robe, past pastor of Shreveport Baptist Temple, assisted. Burial was in Ajax Cemetery near Marthaville, with graveside services at 12:30 p.m., under the direction of Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Mrs. Buck, a native of Pleasant Hill, died Saturday, April 19, 1986, in Willis-Knighton Medical Center, following a short illness. She had been a resident of Shreveport most of her life. She was a homemaker, and a member of Shreveport Baptist Temple, the PTA, and the Foster Parents Association. She was survived by her husband, Lawrence Buck, of Shreveport; one son, Timothy Buck of Shreveport; two daughters, Cindy Hay of Shreveport, and Debbie Tooke of Ruston; four sisters, Margaret Free, Carolyn Irvin, both of Shreveport, Jewell Chadwick of Elm Grove, and Shirley Procell of Baton Rouge; four brothers, Henry Procell, Dewane Procell, Jimmy Procell, and A. D. Procell, all of Shreveport; and five grandchildren. Pallbearers were Mickey Bennett, Vince Irvin, Virgil Ray Procell, Charles A. Procell, Douglas Free, Steve Procell, Homer Free, Jr., and Wesley Buck.
