Bass, Sr. Graveside services for Mr. Willie H. Bass, Sr., 67, of Coushatta, were held at 1 p.m., Monday, July 14, at Springville Cemetery, with Sister Margaret Bonnette officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Coushatta. Mr. Bass died Friday, July 11, 1986, at LSU Medical Center, following a short illness. He was a veteran of World War II, and a member of American Legion Post 388 of Koran. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Bass of Coushatta; two sons, Willie H. Bass, Jr. and wife Fran of Coushatta, Jesse E. Bass, III of Coushatta; five sisters, Lillian Mims of Anahuac, Texas, Myrtle Samec of Florida, Alice Bass of Shreveport, Murlene Thompson of Converse, Bobbye Heintshel of Texarkana, Texas; two brothers, Jessie E. Bass, Jr. of Coushatta, Everett H. Bass of Many; three grandsons, Howard A. Bass, W. H. Bass, III, Joseph A. Bass, and a host of nieces and nephews.
