  Mr. Hoyt C. Bass, 66, of Zwolle, died on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 1986,
at 10:30 a.m., in Many.

  Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, Dec. 4, at 2
p.m., at Beulah Baptist Church, with the Rev. Kenneth Leach
officiating. Burial will be in Beulah Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his wife, Mary Bass of Zwolle; four sons,
Bobby C. Bass of Shreveport, Howard D. Bass of Keithville, Rodney
G. Bass, and Charles A. Bass, both of Zwolle; two daughters, Judy
L. Miller of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Patsy D. Pender of
Shreveport; mother, Vinnie Latham of Converse; one brother, Troy
Bass of Shreveport; three sisters, Marie Meshell of Dallas,
Christine Turner of Atoka, Okla., and Minnie Mae Wilson of
Haynesville, La.; four granddaughters, and a host of nieces and
nephews.
