Vela Mae "Katie" Bass

  Funeral services for Vela Mae "Katie" Bass, 61, were held
Thursday, Sept. 26, at 11 a.m., in Zion Rest Cemetery, under the
direction of Rose-Neath's Mansfield Chapel.

  Niss Bass died Monday, Sept. 23, at Pinecrest Development Center
in Pineville. She was born in Rotice? City, Texas, November 23,
1929.

  Survivors include three sisters, Ethel B. Pace of Farmerville,
Mary Cooh of Chordrant, and Ernel Frazier of Pleasant Hill; and a
host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and
cousins.
