L. C. Bass

  Funeral services for L. C. Bass, 67, were held at 2 p.m., Jan.
14, at Beulah Baptist Church.

  Rev. Kenneth Leach officiated. Interment was in Beulah Cemetery,
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Military graveside services will be conducted by the Sabine
Parish D.A.V. Chapter 21.

  Mr. Bass passed away on Jan. 13, at Veteran's Administration
Medical Center in Shreveport.

  Mr. Bass was born on April 12, 1927, to Pearlee and Charlie
Bass.

  Survivors include his widow, Virginia Bass of Shreveport; two
daughters, Patricia Bass Nowlan of Shreveport, and Lisa Bass of
Bossier; one son, Leonard C. Bass of Shreveport; two sisters,
Aliece Jones of Noble, and Maretta Armstrong of Mansfield; two
brothers, Howard Bass of Zwolle, and Hershel Bass of Houston; and
three grandchildren.
