Howard C. Bass

  Funeral services for Howard C. Bass were held at 2 p.m., Feb.
27, at Pendleton Assembly of God Church.

  Rev. James Flanagan, and Rev. Max McGough officiated. Interment
was in Pendleton Assembly of God Church Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Bass passed away on Feb. 25, at Willis Knighton Hospital in
Shreveport.

  Mr. Bass was born on June 7, 1917, in Sabine Parish, to Pearlee
Jones, and Charlie Bass.

  Mr. Bass was married to Venecer Cryer on October 29, 1938, in
Many.

  Survivors include his widow, Venecer Bass of Many; one son,
Ronnie Bass of Keithville; two sisters, Marietta Armstrong of
Mansfield, and Aleece Bass of Noble; one brother, Hershel Bass of
Cleveland, Tex.; two grandchildren; one great grandchild; and
numerous nieces and nephews.
