Bass Funeral services for Mr. Everett H. Bass, 70, of Many, were held at 10 a.m., September 15, 1995, at Pendleton Assembly of God. Chaplain Lowell Bell officiated. Interment was in Pendleton Assembly of God Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Mr. Bass died September 13, 1995, at Willis Knighton North Hospital in Shreveport. Mr. Bass was born August 14, 1925, in Sabine Parish, to Jesse and Mary Bass. Mr. Bass was an Army Veteran of WWII, and very active in the Sabine Chapter 21 D.A.V., being 2nd in command. Graveside services were conducted by the Sabine Chapter 21 D.A.V. of Many. Survivors are his widow, Mavis C. Bass of Many; four children, Herman Bass of Thibodeaux, Helen McGee and husband Mike of West Monroe, Carry Bass and wife Birdie of Houston, Gary Bass and wife Myra of Many; five sisters, Lillian Mims of Trinity, Texas, Myrtle Samec of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Alice Bass of Bossier, Murlene Thompson of Converse, and Bobbie Heintchel of Texarkana, Texas; one brother, Jesse E. Bass of Coushatta; 13 grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
