Officiating was Rev. Roy Leach. Interment was in Beulah Cemetery, under the direction of Les Fontaine Funeral Home. Mrs. Bass died Saturday, Dec. 7, at Bossier General Hospital in Bossier City. She was born April 18, 1923, to Jessie and Mary Jane Armstrong Bass of Many. She is survived by one son, Douglas Arthur of Geneva, Texas; one daughter, Patricia Veuleman of Shreveport; four sisters, Murlene Thompson of Converse, Myrtle Samec of Florida, Lillian Mims of Texas, Amanda Heintschiel of Texarkana, Texas; one brother, J. E. Bass Jr. and wife Sammie of Coushatta; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
