Mrs. Mary Bush

  Mrs. Mary Bush, 81, of Many, died Wednesday, May 29, in a local
nursing home, after an extended illness.

  Surviving relatives include five sons, T. J., and Gilbert Bush
of Many, Ernest, and Edgar Bush of Houston, and Owen Bush of
Houma; two daughters, Mrs. Maudie Thomas, and Mrs. Pearl Moran,
both of Many; five sisters, Mrs. Rosie Robbins of Robeline, Mrs.
Christine Colston of Many, Mrs. Viola Martin of Houston, Mrs.
Agnes Nelms of Alexandria, and Mrs. Vylona Marcus of Tioga; three
brothers, Dora, and Victor VanVeckhoven of Florien, and Otto of
Lake Charles; 21 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Friday, May 42, in the Ft. Jesup
Baptist Church, with the Rev. H. H. Tibbitts, the Rev. Ray
Penfield, and the Rev. Harry McGuffee officiating.

  Interment was in the Ft. Jesup Cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
