Funeral services were in the First Baptist Church at Converse, at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 16, with the Rev. Jack Burns officiating. Burial was in the Converse Cemetery, under direction of the First National Funeral Home of Natchitoches. Survivors are his widow; two sons, Pete Basco of the USAF, and Larry Basco of Shreveport; one daughter, Myrtie Bedgood of Monroe; two brothers, Robert Basco of Taylor, Tex., and Clarence Basco of Taylor; three sisters, Mrs. Edna O'Connor of Natchitoches, Minnie Turner of Shreveport, and Viola Bustamano of Shreveport; 12 grandchildren.
