Carl Roy Bush

  Carl Roy Bush, 94, of Florien, died March 6, 2002, at IHS of
Many #1. He was a long time resident of the Village of Florien in
Sabine Parish. He took interest in his community, where he
farmed, and helped his neighbors any way he could.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., March 8, at First Baptist
Church in Florien, with interment following at Mt. Carmel
Cemetery. The Rev. Bobby Franklin, the Rev. Bobby Slayton, and
the Rev. Jerry Ford officiated.

  Survivors include two sisters, Willie Mae Tilley of Hornbeck,
and Glynetta Turner and husband William of Florien; sister-in-law
Lela Mae Bush of Sulphur; many nieces and nephews; and great
nieces and nephews.

  He was preceded in death by his sister, Eva Lea Branch; and
brother Julian Bush.

  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Florien
Development Company, for refurbishment of the Depot, for a
Memorial Center.
