Charles E. Bass

  Last rites for Charles E. Bass, age 67, who died Nov. 23, were
conducted at 11:30 a.m., Nov. 24, at St. Ann's Catholic Church,
Allen, with Rev. Father Engle officiating. Interment was under
the direction of Warren Funeral Home.

  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Louisa Bass of Allen; three sons,
R. C., and Joe Bass, both of Shreveport, Olli Bass of Houston,
Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Sadie Morvan, and Mrs. Lilly Durr, both
of Allen; and 15 grandchildren.
