Samuel Peyton Bass (Photo)

  Samuel Peyton Bass, 23, died Sept. 8, 2002, in DeSoto Parish, in
a vehicle accident. He had been employed at Cleco Power Plant in
Mansfield for the past five years.

  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Sept. 11, at Wallace
Baptist Church in the Wallace Community, with interment following
at Zions Rest Cemetery. The Rev. Joe Thibeau will officiate, and
the Rev. Craig Beeman will assist.

  Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Rebecca C. and
Byron Britt of Wallace Community; two sisters and their husbands,
Danielle and Scott Vallotton of Slaughter, and Suzannah and Josh
Ross of Wallace Community; and nephew, Jackson Daniel Ross of
Wallace Community.

  His father, Robert R. Bass preceded him in death.

  Pallbearers were Daryl Bass, Cloyce Clark, Zeb Clark, Rob
Chamberlin, Michael Wilson, and Matthew Wilson. Honorary
pallbearers were Jeremy Allen, Shawn Peacock, Justin Bufkin, and
Jeremy Evans.
