Mae N. Bishop

  Services for Mrs. Mae N. Bishop, 94, of Cotton Valley, were held
at 2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 8, at the First Baptist Church of
DeRidder. Officiating was Dr. Emory Wallace. Burial was at
Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder. Arrangements were under the
direction of Bailey Mortuary of Springhill.

  Mrs. Bishop, a native of DeRidder, died Wednesday afternoon,
Jan. 6, in Springhill, following a brief illness.

  She is survived by one daughter, Hazel B. Ball of Cotton Valley;
three brothers, J. C. Nichols of DeRidder, Ellis Nichols of Lake
Charles, and Carroll Nichols of San Antonio, Tex.; three sisters,
Mrs. G. W. Cline of DeRidder, Mrs. Tee Norris of Many, and Mrs.
Eutha Roper of Lake Charles; four grandchildren; twelve great
grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren.
