Officiating was Dr. William Crosby, pastor of First Baptist Church of Mansfield. Assisting was Chaplain Claude Spearman, Shreveport P.D. and Fire Departments. Burial was at Centuries Cemetery Shreveport. Mrs. Bigby died Friday, April 22, at Doctors Hospital in Shreveport. She was a native of Oak Grove in Sabine Parish, and was a resident of Mansfield. She was a member of Rebecca Sunday School Class, AARP, Garden Club, and Homemakers Club. She was a secretary. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Bigby; five sisters; and two brothers. She is survived by one son, Tom and Phyllis Bigby of Philadelphia, Pa.; niece like daughter, Joann Copeland of Mansfield, La.; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
