Bobby Best - February 11, 1988 Funeral services for the Rev. Bobby Best, 30, of Brockton, Mass., were at 2 p.m. Jan. 31 in the Indian Village Pentecostal Church near Kinder. Officiating were the Revs. Edgar Farris, G. A. Alexander, Jack Garrison, C. Bushnell, and T. Bushnell. Burial was in Green Oaks Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home in Kinder. Rev. Best died at 10:30 p.m. Jan. 24 from injuries received in a traffic accident in Massachusetts. A native of Enid, Okla., he was pastor of the Brockton Mass. United Pentecostal Church. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. LaDonna Nixon Best, of Brockton, Mass.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Best of Enid, Okla.; three sisters, Mrs. Alice Smith and Mrs. Barbara Lewis, both of Enid, Okla., and Mrs. Joyce Koncaba of Nebraska. Rev. Best and his wife resided in Sabine Parish, in the Peason community in 1982 and 1983, where he served as assistant pastor at Peason United Pentecostal church under the pastorate of Rev. Ken Bushnell. He was also employed by several local businesses.
