All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mrs. Emma Bostick Mrs. Emma Jane Bostick, 95, of Natchitoches, died at 2:45 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 8, in the Magnolia Manor Nursing Home, after a long illness. A Shreveport resident for three years, Mrs. Bostick was born in Rankin, Miss., and was a member of First Baptist Church in Natchitoches. She was the widow of Silas Martin Bostick, and is survived by four sons, Clyde M. Bostick of Natchitoches, George T. Bostick of Arcadia, S. J. Bostick, and W. A. Bostick, both of Shreveport; three daughters, Mrs. J. C. Adams of Mansfield, Mrs. W. B. Durr, and Mrs. W. B. Worley of Shreveport; 18 grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren. Services were held Monday, Jan 10, at 2 p.m., at the Springridge Baptist Church in Pleasant Hill, with Dr. James E. Carter, pastor of First Baptist Church in Natchitoches officiating, and Rev. Cecil Salley assisting. Burial will be in Springridge Cemetery in Pleasant Hill.
