"Foots" Bostick Sr., 93, of Natchitoches, were held at 10 a.m., Monday, December 7, at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Dr. Brad Creed, and Rev. Doug Cain, and Rev. Clifford Locke. Burial was held at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches. Arrangements are under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Mr. Bostick was born in Sabine Parish, November 23, 1899. He was the son of Silas M. Bostick and Emma Ross Bostick. Mr. Bostick died Friday, December 4, at Natchitoches Parish Hospital. He was a resident of Natchitoches since 1931. He had been in the automobile business since 1922, first in Pleasant Hill, and later in Mansfield. At his retirement in 1969, he was co-owner and manager of Peoples Motor Co., a Lincoln-Mercury dealership. For his interest in safe highways and streets, Mr. Bostick twice received the Certificate of Merit from the National Automobile Dealers Association, Traffic Safety Council.
