E. C. Beasley

  E. C. (Duke) Beasley, 51, of Many, died Tuesday, May 25, at
1:15 a.m., in a Shreveport Hospital, after a short illness.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 26, at 2 p.m., in
the Many First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Perry Lassiter
officiating. Interment was in the Many Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Beasley is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lorraine Beasley
of Many; one brother, W. E. Beasley of Austin, Tex., and one
sister, Mrs. Herman Brown of Loomis, Texas.
