Dovie M. Bissell

  Dovie M. Bissell, 75, of Converse, died Monday afternoon, April
28, in Mansfield Hospital, after a long illness.

  The funeral was at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 30, in Drewett
Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Don Toutcheque, and
the Rev. Martin Salisbury officiating. Burial was in Old Union
Cemetery near Benson.

  Survivors include her husband, Floyd J. Bissell Sr. of Converse;
two sons, Floyd J. Bissell Jr. of Converse, and Luther C. Bissell
of Shreveport; one daughter, Mary Lee Myers of Mansfield; three
brothers, Gilbert Fisher of Opelousas, Jack Fisher of Pelican,
and Foley Fisher of Ada Okla.; two sisters, Linnie Hatcher of
Converse, and Maye Hagen of Ruston; nine grandchildren; and five
great grandchildren.
