All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** The Sabine Index Mrs. Sarah Alieze Beasly Boswell - March 17, 1988 Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Alieze Beasly Boswell, 95, of Longville, La., were held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26, at Beauregard Funeral Home Chapel in DeRidder. The Rev. Johnny Johnson officiated. Burial was at Fort Jesup Cemetery near Many. Mrs. Boswell died at 1:40 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, 1988, at Merryville Nursing Center in Merryville. She was born in Lotus, La., and was a longtime resident of Longville. She was the widow of Grover C. Boswell and they, and their family, lived in the house in Many where Care-A-Lot Castle Preschool is now located. He built that house and several more in that area-which is called Boswell Heights. The street beside Care-A-Lot is named Alieze in Mrs. Boswell's honor. She is survived by six sons, L. P. Boswell of Houston, Tx, V. W. Boswell of Sonoma, Calif., R. J. Boswell of Natchitoches, G. T. Boswell of Covington, Grover C. Boswell Jr. of Longville, J. K. Boswell of San Diego, Calif.; three daughters, Dr. Agnes Johnson of Lakeland, Fla., Shawnee B. Osborne of Longville and Lois M. Rigdon of Natchitoches; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
