Beasley Kenneth Zane Beasley Sr. of Shreveport, died at his home, after a sudden illness. He was the owner of the K. Z. Beasley Insurance Co., and was also regional manager of the Reserve National Life Insurance Co. He had lived in Shreveport nine years, was a native of Many, and had lived in Baton Rouge several years. He was a member of the Pinecroft Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow; his mother, Mrs. Claude Beasley of Many; three sons, Kenneth Z. Beasley Jr., Richard E. Beasley, and Robert G. Beasley; a daughter, Pamela Kaye Beasley; a brother, Gerald A. "Buddy" Beasley of Many; a sister, Mrs. Betty Peace of Many; and his grandmother, Mrs. Lowellen Armour of Pleasant Hill. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., March 9, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, by the Rev. Jerry Schmucker, pastor of the Pinecroft Baptist Church. Burial was at 3:30 p.m., at the Oak Hill Cemetery near Many. Pallbearers were G. A. Beasley, Clent Rambin, Rogear Cole, Gene Gardner, K. Z. Beasley Jr., Harold Armour, Sid Sanders, and Bob Futrell.
