Joe Russell Buckley

  A Natchitoches man, Joe Russell Buckley, 65, died of an apparent
heart attack at Amos Hatcher's Landing, on Toledo Lake, Wednesday
morning, about 8, according to Lt. Alfice Brumley of the Sabine
Parish Sheriff's Office.

  Lt. Brumley said Buckley was purchasing some shiners at the time
of the attack. Buckley's brother, A. J., and Lodice Menard, drove
up to the place about that time, and assisted Hatcher.

  Buckley's body was picked up by Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
